Biography :

Dr. Udayabanu holds a Associate Professor position at Department of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics, Jaypee University of Information Technology. Graduated from SGSITS, Indore, Rajiv Gandhi Technical University (Bhopal). He completed his PhD from Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research, University of Delhi. He is a recipient of Junior Research Fellowship from AICTE as well Senior Research Fellowship from Indian Council of Medical Research. He has several years of teaching experience. He had also held the position of Teaching Assistant at Dr. Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research, University of Delhi. His current research area is understanding the pathophysiology of of CNS dysfunction in diabetes and screening of herbal and synthetic molecules. 

Project Area:
The following areas are intended for Bachelor/Master Project work.
Isolation, characterization and evaluation of Phytochemicals/Herbals in health and disease. Formulation development for the delivery of drugs/phytochemicals such as Gel/Cream, etc.
I welcome novel ideas from students as well.
