  • Ph. D. (Physics) :

    The award of the Ph.D. degree is in recognition of high academic achievements demonstrated by independent research and application of knowledge to the solution of technical and scientific problems. Creative and productive inquiry is the basic requirement underlying research work. The academic program leading to the degree involves fulfilling course credit requirements, residential requirements and a thesis giving a critical account of the research carried out, in any of the areas listed below.

    Nano-structured semi-conducting thin films, Electro-luminescent display devices, Magnetic multi-layered thin films, ferrite based micro-strip antennas, opto-electronic materials, semi-conducting materials for microelectronic devices.

  • M.Tech. (Nanotechnology)

    This is an intensive course that aims to produce top quality engineers in the areas of Nano Science & Technology. It provides exposure to cutting-edge technology in this area through an inter-disciplinary program of the Physics, Chemistry and Electronics & Communication groups of the University. The course has been framed with emphasis on fundamentals of nano-materials/devices and applications built through application specific courses.
