Jaypee Business School, Waknaghat (JBSW)

Dr. Rajneesh Chauhan is an Assistant Professor (Grade-I) at Jaypee Business School, Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Solan, India. He is a scholar of contemporary literary and cultural studies. He has earned his PhD in English from the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, with a thesis titled Debunking Post-Truth Politics in Select Novels. He previously completed his M.Phil. in English from Himachal Pradesh University.
Dr. Chauhan has taught English language and literature at several higher education institutions in India, including Amity University Punjab, Himachal Pradesh University (Guest Faculty), and SD College Chandigarh.
His research interests include political philosophy, literary theory, environmental humanities, posthumanism, discourse analysis, and South Asian literature. Dr. Chauhan has published extensively in reputed journals, including Contemporary Voice of Dalit (SAGE), Economic & Political Weekly, and other peer-reviewed national and international publications. He has also contributed entries to the Encyclopaedia Dictionary of Diasporic Indian English Writing (Springer Nature). His work has been presented at several international conferences. Dr. Chauhan has delivered invited lectures, notably at IIT Jammu, on the relevance of George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four to contemporary post-truth politics.Beyond academic publishing, he has also authored newspaper opinion pieces and editorials, contributing significantly to public intellectual discourse.
His current research explores the intersections of literature, ecology, indigenous knowledge systems, and Himalayan sacred landscapes through interdisciplinary theoretical frameworks.He can be contacted at rajneesh.chauhan@juitsolan.in
