Ms. Monika is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Jaypee University of Information Technology, Solan. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from NetajiSubhas University of Technology (NSUT), New Delhi, with her research focused on Smart Transportation, Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs), and AI-based Routing and Security.She completed her M.Tech, B.Techin Computer Science & Engineering from DCRUST, Murthal.
Her research interests span AI/ML, Ad-hoc Networks,metaheuristic optimization techniques, and network security. She has authored and presented research at several IEEE and Springer conference venues, including works on efficient routing schemes for VANETs, blockchain-enabled vehicular edge computing security, drowsiness detection using deep learning, and air quality prediction using deep learning models.
She has qualified UGC NET-JRF, GATE, and HTET (Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test), and has actively participated in numerous Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) on topics including AI security and ethics, generative AI, optimization techniques, and bio-inspired algorithms etc.
