Ms. Monika Varshney is serving as Assistant Professor (Grade-I) in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, Solan. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. She obtained her M.Tech. in Computer and System Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. She qualified the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in Computer Science and Information Technology (CS) in 2019 and in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA) in 2024. She also qualified the University Grants Commission–National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) in Computer Science and Applications in 2021.
Her research interests include Graph Neural Networks, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision. Her doctoral research focuses on learning from dynamic graph data, improving adversarial robustness in heterophilic graphs, and addressing oversmoothing in deep graph neural networks.
She has published her work in IEEE journals, ACM conferences, NeurIPS workshops, and Springer proceedings. Her research includes meta-adaptive continual learning for dynamic graphs, privacy-preserving out-of-distribution alignment in federated graph neural networks, and the development of efficient and expressive graph neural network architectures.
