Dr. Mansi Sahi is serving as Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Jaypee University of Information & Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat, Solan.
She obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar, M.Tech. (Computer Science and Engineering) from University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Panjab University, Chandigarh, and B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Jaypee University of Information & Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat. She qualified the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2014. She was awarded the GATE Fellowship during her M.Tech. and received the prestigious Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Scholarship for pursuing her doctoral research.
Dr. Sahi's research interests include Distributed Computing, Fog and Edge Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing. She has contributed extensively to these areas through high-quality research publications in leading SCI and Scopus-indexed journals, international conferences, and book chapters published by IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, and Wiley.
Her research experience includes working on a National Supercomputing Mission (NSM) funded project in collaboration with Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, as well as participating in research projects involving international collaborations. She has also demonstrated strong innovation and research translation through the filing of 10 patents within the past year.
Dr. Sahi actively contributes to academic and professional training in emerging AI technologies. She was invited as an AI Expert to deliver a lecture titled "Natural Language Processing: Concepts, Applications, and Text Processing Techniques" during the Multi-Tiered AI & Data Management Training Program for Northern Command, organized by the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT), IIT Delhi, in February 2026. She also delivered an invited talk on "Deep Learning Foundations and Architectures" during the Advanced AI Training Program for National Informatics Centre (NIC) officers, organized by FITT, IIT Delhi, at the IIT Delhi Sonipat Campus in March 2026.
Dr. Sahi continues to pursue interdisciplinary research in Artificial Intelligence and Distributed Computing while actively contributing to teaching, research, innovation, and academic collaborations.
