NASA SPACE APPS CHALLENGE, IIT Delhi , New Delhi

JUIT students were selected to participate at IIT Delhi , New Delhi in ‘NASA – International Space App Challenge’. Among 120 participants , 9 participants were selected from JUIT. The challenge was to ‘Sensor Yourself’ category being – ‘Robotics Lava Tubes’. As a team of 9- ‘DEXTER’, they made a remarkable project.

 

The hard work did pay off well  when, the team won IBM Bluemix Award for successfully and precisely integrating  cloud in the project  -‘Dextron 10’. They  also got 1200 GB of cloud space worth 48,000   including global certificates .

 

The above project was guided and  supported by  Prof S K Kak (Vice  Chancellor, JUIT), Brig. Balbir Singh (Director, JUIT) , Prof. Sunil Bhoosan (  HOD , ECE ) , Mr. Tapan Jain ( Branch Counsellor).
