The Student Grievance Redressal Cell (SGRC) of Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat, has been constituted with the objective of creating a responsive, transparent, and student-centric environment within the University. The primary purpose of the Cell is to provide a formal mechanism for students to register their grievances and seek redressal in matters related to academic processes, examination issues, evaluation, administrative support, facilities, or any other concern that may hinder their academic journey or personal well-being on campus. The SGRC ensures that students’ complaints are heard in a fair and unbiased manner and that solutions are provided promptly, thereby protecting their rights and interests as stakeholders of the institution. It encourages students to express their concerns freely without fear of victimization and guarantees confidentiality and sensitivity in handling cases. By offering an effective forum for dialogue and resolution, the Cell not only minimizes potential conflicts but also builds trust between students and the administration. Ultimately, the SGRC plays a vital role in enhancing the overall learning environment, promoting harmony, safeguarding student welfare, and upholding the values of justice, equality, and accountability that form the foundation of the University’s academic and administrative functioning.
A periodic email from the Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) is sent to support the students in addressing any academic or non-academic concerns they may face during your time at the university.
Students are encouraged to make use of the SGRC portal to register their grievances in a timely and constructive manner whether it relates to infrastructure, facilities, or any other genuine concern—your voice is important, and we are here to listen.
