How to Reach JUIT
By Air
Convenient airports are:
- Shimla (30 Km)
- Chandigarh (100 Km)
- New Delhi (350 Km)
- Amritsar (350 Km)
By Train
Direct trains from Delhi and other places are available upto Kalka (70 Km). From Kalka, you can hire a taxi or board a bus to Waknaghat.
You can also take the Kalka-Shimla Heritage Toy Train upto Kandaghat (12 Km from JUIT).
By Bus
All buses from Delhi, Chandigarh (ISBT, Sec 43), and other places to Shimla drop and pick up passengers at Waknaghat.
General Information
The University is situated in the neighbourhood of Shimla, 3 KM off the NH22 (Ambala-Kalka-Waknaghat-Shimla road). It is just a half-hour drive to Shimla from campus.
