Working as Associate Professor in Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics at JUIT; Principal Investigator in DST under SERC fast track scheme for young scientists at Advanced Biotechnology Centre HPKVV Palmpur (2004- 2006); Research Associate at Advanced Biotechnology Centre HPKVV Palmpur(2002- 2003); ICAR NET 2004; Ph. D from DR YSPUHF Nauni Soaln (2002)

Broad Project Areas:
Production, testing evaluation of different fermented alcoholic/non alcoholic foods
Expression Profiling of genes in some identified differential samples (subject to availability of funds)
Adaptation and evaluation of fermented foods for Indian market
Evaluation of important Phytochemicals in plant based sources
Development of mycelium based Packaging systems
