Biography

Dr. Suresh Kumar Chauhan obtained his M.A., BLISc, MLISc and Ph.D from Panjab University, Chandigarh. He had also qualified UGC-NET in Library and Information Science. He happened to be the first librarian of Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida; BML Munjal University, Gurgaon and GD Goenka University, Gurgaon and established user centric libraries with state-of-the-art-technology in these institutions. He also worked with Centre for Research in Rural and Industrial Development (CRRID), Chandigarh as Library Assistant and Project Scientist at Information and Library Network Centre (INFLIBNET), Gujarat. Presently, he has been working with Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat (HP) as Deputy Learning Resource Manager and heading the Library system at the campus.  His areas of interest are user centric libraries, digital libraries, E-Resource Management, Bibliometrics/Scientometircs and ROI, etc.
