She is pursuing Master of Science in Experimental Medicine (Thesis) from the eminent McGill University (Overall World Rank 32), Montreal, Canada. The course is fully funded through scholarship and stipend, based on her past academic records. She is working in Jewish general Hospital under Dr. Mari T. Kaartinen, Director, Division of Biomedical Sciences and Associate Professor, Faculty of Medicine. She is working on analysis of association of gene expression levels to markers and pathways leading to metabolic disturbances of human body. She has an offer of a fast track PhD. During B.Tech, she qualified for 2018 Commonwealth Scholarship in the United Kingdom by MHRD, India ( She was selected for a 6-month fellowship at CCMB Hyderabad as well. She interned at IIT Roorkee and SGPGI, Lucknow and also received a Summer Research Fellowship through SRFP-2017 from Indian Academy of Sciences for internship in her 3rd year (

She is doing Masters in Bioinformatics from Saarland University, Germany. She has one publication that is Modified S-transform as a tool to identify secondary structure elements in RNA published in journal of Bio-Algorithm and Med-Systems in December 2017.

Ms. Sunandini Sharma
B. Tech. BI (2012-16)


She is pursuing her Masters in Biomedical Informatics at University of Nebraska, Omaha (UNO). Her MS research area is “Effect of Diet and Microbiome on Colorectal Cancer”. Recently, she has published her research study entitled “Identifying enriched drug fragments as possible candidates for metabolic engineering” in the reputed Journal, BMC Medical Genomics 2016, 9(Suppl 2):46. Recently, she got offer for Ph.D. programme in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at University of Nebraska Medical College.

Mr. Siddharth S Tomar

He is pursuing Masters in Molecular Techniques in Life Science. This programme is run by Science for Life Lab, Karolinska Institutet, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm University, Sweden. He did his internship on “Evaluation of GPU based short sequence alignment algorithms for genomics” under the Supervision of Dr. Ivo Kwee, Bioinformatics Core Unit (an official SIB group), Institute of Oncology Research (IOR), Switzerland.

He is continuing Masters in Applied Sciences and Engineering: Applied Computer Science in the domain of Digital Health at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium. He was selected for Summer Internship on the project entitled “BRiDGEIRIS – Brussels big data platform for sharing and discovery in clinical Genomics” under the Supervision of Dr. Ann Nowé, Director, Artificial Intelligence Lab, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium.
