The University is spread over 25 acres of lush green picturesque slopes of Waknaghat, in District Solan of Himachal Pradesh, creating a tranquil environment that can heighten the spirit and energy level of all learners and inspire them to optimize their learning efforts. The architectural design of the campus is entrusted to M/s Arcop Associates Pvt. Ltd., an eminent Canada based architect firm, with the construction being undertaken by the Jaypee Group itself. Functionally and aesthetically spread out, the architectural plan builds on providing an intellectual ambience in clusters in an exciting landscape that is easy flowing and community-friendly.

The JUIT campus, designed by Montreal based architectural firm , ARCOP Ltd & the construction being taken by the Jaypee group itself ,provides stimulating environment for learning and development. Fully wired with state-of-the-art learning tools and web based educational environment, the campus is planed for the advanced computing infrastructure, a well-stocked library , a Gymnasium , Bank, Supermarket , School , Postoffice , Temple , Hospital , Helipad , Indoor Stadium and a fully equipped Open Air Theatre. The facilities at the campus truly reflect JUIT's holistic approach to provide an intellectually stimulating ambience for creating a technology knowledge hub thereby challenging the students to shape as knowledge workers and intellectual leaders of tomorrow.The University's campus is in every sense, a extension of the vision of creating an University of the international repute & highest global standards

Facilities @ JUIT

The infrastructure development of our university has been a continuous process. Our focus has been on simultaneous growth of both the basic needs like lecture theatre ,classrooms, laboratories, drawing halls, workshops and library, conference hall, etc. for academic activities on one hand and student support facilities like hostels, canteen, stationery shop, telephone kiosks, medical support, transport, bank ,students activity center etc. on the other hand. The development of the institute has been planned in a phased manner so that the required facilities become available well before the need arises. Recent additions have been a modern lecture theater with seating capacity of 240 students , it is fully equipped with modern projector & sound system.
