Webinar by Shivam Gupta, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Volumetree

The JUIT Alumni Cell organized a webinar by Mr. Shivam Gupta, an alumnus of the 2016 batch, on the topic “Journey of an Entrepreneur”. He is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Volumetree. The event took place virtually on 20th August 2021 on the Google Meet platform. The webinar took place virtually on 17th April 2021 on the Google Meet platform with an audience of 80+ participants. "It is a very important aspect, you need to empower yourself constantly, particularly if you are thinking about entrepreneurship", says Shivam Gupta. Mr. Shivam, a self and purpose-driven individual, is greatly inspired by Steve Jobs. With the desire to make a difference in the upcoming Tech fields, he started Volumetree 4 years back and now has a team of more than 60. He helped companies to start from scratch to be a multi-million venture in just 4 years. Volumetree has a footprint in more than 10 countries. He is currently working with several fortune 500 companies.

According to Mr. Shivam, the early goal of learning should not be money-oriented but rather acquiring the exposure to challenge yourself and test your capabilities. Inheriting the qualities to stay self-motivated, creative, grasp money management, leadership, risk-taker with the ability to make decisions without a sense of failing, and having the vision to serve mankind with purpose. He expressed his thoughts on time management and the work-life balance. He claims that conceiving a concept and putting it to practical implementation should be the optimal task. He then opens the Q&A platform, where he welcomes questions from the audience and helps people work through their issues. In response to the questions, Shivam provides suitable statistics-based replies based on a poll of more than 100 participants, to provide greater clarity to the questioners with desired and intuitive responses to the participants.
