Biography

Total Work Experience: 14 Years

Dr. Rajesh Siddavatam is currently working as IEEE Senior Member & Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & IT, Jaypee University of Information Technology.

He is also the Director of Image Information Processing Research Group related to Computer Graphics, Computer Vision and Image Processing.

Prior to that he has worked in the prestigious BITS-Pilani for almost 10 years both in academics and administration. Earlier, he held the positions of Asst. Professor (2005-2008); Lecturer (2000-2004) in BITS Pilani.

Dr Siddavatam holds his PhD degree from BITS-Pilani in the area of Image Processing using Wavelets in the year 2006 and M.E. in Robotics from BITS-Pilani in1999.

Dr. Rajesh Siddavatam is currently serving as reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Image Processing.

He has published around 40 papers in International Journals and Conferences of repute in the areas of Image Processing, Computer Vision and computer Graphics.

He has also served as Technical Program Committee member and reviewer for many IEEE International Conferences like IEEE ICUMT 2010, Moscow, Russia, IEEE TENCON 2009, Singapore, IEEE CICSyN 2010, Liverpool,UK., and EM2MTN, BITS- Pilani, 2007. He was invited as Session Chair in IEEE TENCON 2009 , Singapore Nov 23-26, Suntech City, Singapore. Prof. Siddavatam has guided almost 80 undergraduate projects with top class MNC'S like Microsoft, TCS, Wipro, Satyam. He is Senior Member of IEEE and IAENG.
